Trails still have snow - there are spots & areas that are bare. Believe it or not - we are supposed to get some snow! THINK SNOW!!!
2/17/12: FAIR - THINK SNOW!
It's not raining, it's not sunny (good) & it's not snowing (bad) - but, we are supposed to get some snow later today & tonight.
Let's hope Mother Nature leaves us a big present.
Better get out & ride!

It didn't rain-rain, but it was misty & a little snow.
It is supposed to snow some more & get a little colder. THINK SNOW!
2/15/12: GOOD - THINK SNOW!
Got a couple more inches & supposed to snow a little more every day!
Groomer went out & groomed Massawepie Blvd. to Mink Brook. Groomer reports trails are in good shape. Boy Scout Road is good. Use caution on Grasse River Railroad, snow is thin there & old railroad ties are not covered.
Everybody needs to think cold & snow - gonna be a great weekend!

It has been sunny & bright blue skies. Weekend is calling for some really cold temps & some snow. Trails are frozen with some bare spots. Beware on Grasse River Railroad, there are some ties not covered by snow. Beware on bridges, there is no snow coverage on them. Better get out & ride & THINK SNOW!

It got cold & snowed 3'' over the weekend. The trails were icey!
On Monday, it was 40* with sun & bright-blue skies.
It is supposed to get cold & snow - let's hope for alot of snow!
2/1/12: FAIR?
OMG!!! It has rained again & was 40* again! Rain, rain go away! If it snowed as much as rained this winter, we'd be golden! Someone is doing the snowdance wrong - EVERYONE NEEDS THINK COLD & SNOW! Temps are supposed to go back down & supposed to get some snow, will keep you posted.
1/30/12: GOOD/EXCELLENT
Got 5'' new snow. Groomers were out grooming all trails today & report trails are in excellent condition. Let's hope it doesn't rain or get warm!

It rained. Trails are slushy. We need snowdancers! THINK SNOW!!!
1/22/12: GOOD
All trails groomed this weekend & are in great shape. The railroad tracks can't be groomed, need more snow. You can get to Horseshoe Lake, there is a detour, follow the signs. Rode from the The Thirsty Moose to Windfall to Cranberry Lake Lodge & down to Pinecone - trails were great - they do need more snow. THINK SNOW!!!

Got some rain, wind, snow, cold & sun. With the very high winds & rain, beware of possible trail obstructions. Supposed to get some snow & cold. THINK SNOW!
1/16/12: GOOD
Got 6'' new snow this weekend & it was really cold -25*! Groomers went out & report the snow & cold is making for a great base & trails are in good shape.

No new snow, no grooming.
Horseshoe Lake Trail mostly closed due to logging. An alternative trail is being cut & signed this weekend. From Junction 2 (Grasse River Railroad), please follow detour signs to Horseshoe Lake. From Horseshoe Lake, take original trail to detour signs towards Center Pond. NO snowmobiles allowed on plowed logging area roads! You must follow detour.
1/3/12: POOR
6'' new snow. Need more snow. No grooming yet.
BEWARE: Horseshoe Lake Trail has heavy logging operation,
you must use caution & go slow. Trail may close, will keep you posted.
Use caution on the new trail behind The Thirsty Moose to the Boyscout Road, you may encounter small stumps & rocks, should be good once groomer gets back there.
